Girls 1914 Dress Pattern

Girls 1914 Dress Pattern

SKU:

Sense and Sensebility pattern company created this dress pattern from illustrations in the 1914 Home Pattern Company catalogue.

This is the basic dress silhouette for little girls of the Edwardian period. Sense and Sensebility give wonderful directions for their garments. This pattern includes several examples of ways to alter this pattern for a variety of looks.

Make long or cap sleeves, add a ruffle to the neckline, add cuffs to the sleeves, a wide or narrow sash, add a sheer slip, the possibilites are practically endless.

Maybe you are looking to create a special costume for your child - for Halloween or just dress up. Or maybe you would like to create a special "heirloom" dress for Christmas. Or maybe you are just tired of the way modern girls' clothes look and would like something more modest for your child!

This pattern is adjustable for sizes 1-10 and can be made with cotton, organdy, linen, wool, flannel or silk. Sense & Sensibility
