2008 Mini-Quilt Challenge
“Old Fashioned Fun on the Farm”
Suzy Boyle's charming entry won our grand prize. Her clever embellishments and unique method of hanging are what made her entry stand out. Suzy is a member of the Garland Quilt Guild and a stamping club. She chose this panel because the little girl reminded her of her granddaughter. Suzy's prize was a hatbox filled with fabric, patterns, books and notions.
Our next challenge is the Fall Table Runner challenge. Entries are due August 15, 2008. The challenge fabric is below. You must use at least 1/8th of a yard - which can also be a "Fat eighth" (9"X22")of this fabric in your entry. Minimum size of the runner is 24" long ***UPDATE*** the original challenge fabric (apple baskets) has sold out. I hope we'll be seeing lots of great runners soon.
